Vacuum-Metallized Aluminum Layer vs. Conventional Aluminum Foil: A Comparison of Environmental Performance and Properties
Thickness Difference

Vacuum-Metallized Aluminum Layer: Nanometer scale (30–50 nm), about 1/200 the thickness of conventional aluminum foil.

Conventional Aluminum Foil: Minimum thickness of 6 micrometers (6,000 nm), with high aluminum resource consumption.

Manufacturing Process and Structure

Vacuum-Metallized Aluminum: Aluminum molecules are deposited onto paper under vacuum conditions. Does not form an independent film, achieving strong adhesion with the paper.

Conventional Aluminum Foil: Produced by rolling into an independent film, then laminated to paper in a separate process.

Biodegradability

Vacuum-Metallized Aluminum Layer:
