Shiwaketter -Classification AI
We are pleased to officially release our defect image classification AI software, Shiwaketter.
It alleviates the burden of manual visual inspection — a common challenge in appearance inspection systems — by leveraging HLAC feature extraction developed by AIST.
Shiwaketter enables high-speed classification on general-purpose PCs without GPUs. For example, training on 500 defect images takes just 6 seconds on a Core i7 machine, a dramatic improvement over conventional AI systems which often require over 2 hours.
Adoption by major manufacturers is underway, contributing to reduced visual inspection workloads and more efficient quality control.
