SEKI BLUE FACTORY is an eco-friendly water-based flexographic printing facility specializing in printing on plastic films, nonwoven fabrics, and rayon paper. It embodies SEKI’s commitment to sustainable management and actively promotes environmental initiatives, including decarbonization. We are proud to have achieved zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, enabling us to contribute to our clients’ Scope 3 goals.
Eco printing that reduces poll
Water-based flexographic printing is an environmentally and people-friendly method that uses water-based inks, significantly reducing the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is particularly well-suited for applications requiring high standards of safety and hygiene, such as food packaging. Thanks to recent breakthroughs in printing technology, it is now possible to reproduce delicate and vibrant colors. Additionally, the ink can be effectively transferred to substrates with minimal usage, further reducing overall ink consumption.
Reduced CO₂ by shifting from g
The environmentally conscious non-solvent lamination process uses solvent-free adhesives, making it as gentle on people and the planet as water-based flexographic printing. Unlike dry lamination, which relies on solvent-based adhesives and requires thermal drying, this method eliminates the need for heat, resulting in significant energy savings. When combining water-based flexographic printing with non-solvent lamination, it offers a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to gravure printing with dry lamination.
