Products Information

TP-film Polyethylene-based mic

This is a breathable film that achieves both air and moisture permeability and water resistance by forming a micron-level microporous structure through the filler-filled stretching method. A strength of Tokuyama's microporous film is its ability to undergo biaxial stretching, and biaxially stretched products feature a good balance of strength in both the
longitudinal and transverse directions, as well as flexibility. Additionally, another strength is the ability to provide films in a wide range of thicknesses.

Feature
1)Waterproof breathability
2)Strength balance
3)High tear strength
4)Wide range of thickness

At this exhibition, we are showcasing the following films:

Uniaxial product: PM-18
Biaxial products: PH-35, PH-50, PH-75 (under development)

NFR/Lami TP-film

NFR and Lami TP-film are products where non-woven fabrics(NW) or other materials are laminated onto self-manufactured microporous breathable films (PP-based, PE-based) using heat or adhesives. We propose breathable
films with various features tailored to different needs. At this exhibition, we are introducing three types: general-purpose, easy-to-print, and environmentally friendly.

1)General-purpose NFR
Being a PP-based substrate, it excels in heat resistance and bag-making processability.

2)Easy-to-print Lami TP-film
It offers excellent direct printability on the non-woven fabric surface, reducing printing defects on packaging materials. Additionally,it maintains high seal strength across a wide
range of temperatures.

3)Environmentally friendly Lami TP-film
By laminating paper instead of non-woven fabric, it can contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions in the world.

Biomass Microporous Film

This eco-friendly breathable film allows air to pass through while blocking water. It is ideal for hygienic materials such as diaper back sheets, and breathable packaging for desiccants and dehumidifiers. It contains over 10% biomass resin derived from molasses (a byproduct of sugarcane) and over 50% natural calcium carbonate, keeping petroleum-based materials below 40%.

Feature
1)Waterproof and Breathable
2)Biomass Content = 10%
3)Petroleum-based Materials ≤ 40%
4)Grade Variations

At the exhibition venue, we are showcasing a uniaxial product (15 gsm) and a biaxial product (35 gsm).
